I found out that there are coloured etching plates so I thought I'd re-print some of my older etchings to see what they looked like. I really like them, I think they make the work look slightly less seriously than the black print. I also used some graph paper for the middle etching which I think worked really well and I'm going to do more experimenting with graph paper although I will have to get a thicker kind as the graph paper I used was very thin. And perhaps do more with the dots....
This is an etching print and the plate of a graph of confusion, I have etched a 'cloud of confusion' coming from the bar chart. Really happy with the results I've gotten from my first attempt at etching.
I sat down at my studio space after a lecture, utterly confused what I was going to do for unit X. I had done many many mind maps and I got confused with the more I did so I wanted to show my confusion at this project. Hence I made a graph to show my confusion, it shows my how many ideas I have and the level of confusion that go with them.
