All my books were falling over so I needed bookends, so I brought in these small collections of 'treasures' that I have placed in jars. I quite like the idea of bringing something from the outside inside to the library.

Paul has finished my Library and added the shelves!
I have made a 'secret box' for people to write their secrets on bits of card and post through the hole, I can't wait to see the response I get from it. Paul, our very dedicated Technician has built me a 'pop up' library! I can't wait to fill it with book and things, I've made the curtains from donated fabric and will paint it white after my assessment (there's not enough time!).
I decided to make a book of 'flith' filled with 'dirty' language, this is defiantly not my type of art work...
This amazing little project I accidentaly stumbled upon while doing research on the internet and what a find! Love these small libraries, they are wonderful.
I've made tracing books for my library, I will put them in to it for people to fill while they are in it. I love the quality tracing paper has when it's drawn and written into, the way it it shows through.
For my Foundation show last year I created this installation that invloves people going inside of it through the little door. I've been wanting to carry it on since then.. Perhaps the Library for my books can be a continuation of it.
My book of maps, I'm loving making books, I just finished this, it is based on a map that belonged to one set of my Great Grandparents, it was made in 1942! I got carried away with photocopying... What book to make next?!
