I decided to make a book of 'flith' filled with 'dirty' language, this is defiantly not my type of art work...
This amazing little project I accidentaly stumbled upon while doing research on the internet and what a find! Love these small libraries, they are wonderful.
I've made tracing books for my library, I will put them in to it for people to fill while they are in it. I love the quality tracing paper has when it's drawn and written into, the way it it shows through.
My book of maps, I'm loving making books, I just finished this, it is based on a map that belonged to one set of my Great Grandparents, it was made in 1942! I got carried away with photocopying... What book to make next?!
After I had given the white sketch books out so quickly I made 40 little black ones, looking forwards to see what people do with these!
My first book portraiture, I have made it about myself, each page has a fact for each year. The first page has a fact about my birth. These are most of the books that I have made this year, for my new project I'm making books and researching into the history of books. I have used several different methods to make these books but my definite favourite is gluing the pages together and making a hardcover for it and binding them together.
